Please read carefully before using the Younique Atelier service.
Your access to and use of the service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms.
By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.
Commissions
To initiate a commission, a 50% deposit is required upfront, with the remaining balance due upon completion before dispatch. Please note that deposits for commissioned work are non-refundable.
In the event of unexpected circumstances arising during the creation process, I reserve the right to adjust the commission price accordingly if additional work beyond the initial scope is necessary.
Furniture Pieces
Please note that some pieces may may have slight surface imperfections and aging due to its past life. Understanding the unique history behind each piece I work on is essential. Many of them have lived previous lives, lending them character and charm. However, along with this comes the possibility of minor imperfections reflective of their age. Thus, it’s important to anticipate some signs of general wear.
Rest assured, I put meticulous effort into achieving a high-quality, professional finish for each item. It has been fully cleaned, sanded, and painted to ensure a good-quality finish, but please bear in mind that this is a hand-painted item. Any exceptional issues will be transparently disclosed in the item description, so I encourage you to read it attentively.
Please note that all finishes are professionally hand-painted, setting them apart from factory-finished, mass-produced products.
Photos
While I make every effort to provide accurate photographs on the website, please be aware that variations in color may occur depending on the device used for viewing.
Delivery
Our delivery charges are determined by your location and the size of the item. To receive a personalised delivery quote, please send me a message. Be sure to include information such as the item you’re interested in, your full postcode, and any specific floor requirements for delivery.
Our standard shipping cost includes front-door delivery (applicable for flats and front-door buildings). If you have any special requirements or need assistance with moving your furniture into a specific room, please let us know in advance. Additional charges may apply for such services.
Returns
We do not accept returns unless the piece of furniture is found to be faulty.
Commission work is non-refundable.
Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Younique Furniture and its licensors.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.
Disclaimer
Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or course of performance.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.
Changes
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 15 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
