I’m Gabriela, the upcycler behind Younique Atelier. At one point in my life, I began volunteering on an upcycling project and discovered the mental health benefits that upcycling furniture brings to me.

Having struggled with anxiety since childhood, it’s the moment when I can finally feel my mind switching off. I find comfort in the art of upcycling and I’ve come to realize that just as furniture can be restored to its former glory, individuals can work on restoring their minds as well. Each with its own process, both furniture and individuals can emerge renewed, transformed by the care and dedication invested in their restoration.

Taking all this into account, I decided to pursue the upcycling path independently and open a small business. I suppose now I can restore not only my mind but also your furniture!
